Electro Controls began working with Laurel Public Schools in 2024 when construction of the new Laurel Intermediate School began. After 74 years, Fred Graff Elementary closed due to foundational issues in the building. Laurel Intermediate School was built to accommodate all current students of Fred Graff Elementary and some middle school students.
Electro Controls installed and integrated 94 controllers in the Laurel Intermediate School. These controllers manage and optimize the hot water system and domestic hot water system, along with the boilers, VAVs, RTUs, CUHs, and more. Each system and piece of equipment has been integrated to a front end, providing a graphical user interface where the customer can view and manage the building systems.
