The current Montana State Prison facility, located 3.5 miles west of Deer Lodge, was constructed between 1974 and 1979. Electro Controls has HVAC controls in nearly twenty buildings on site including the administrative buildings, infirmary, high side, low side, food factory, gyms, laundry facilities, and more.
Electro Controls’ first project was completed in the Food Factory in 1997. At that time, Electro was installing Staefa Smart2 controls. Electro Controls began installing Delta controls at the Montana State Prison in 2003 after becoming an authorized distributor for Delta Controls.
