Community Medical Center (CMC) is a leading healthcare organization, located on a 45-acre campus in Missoula, MT. Offering exceptional services and expertise since 1922, CMC is part of a network of hospitals committed to providing quality healthcare.
Electro Controls began installing Staefa Smart 2 controllers on the CMC campus in 1993. In addition to the 120 Smart 2 controllers, Electro has also installed 17 Siemens LON Predator controllers, and more than 200 Delta BACnet controllers on the CMC campus. These controllers are located in and control the Central Plant, Data Center, Pharmacy, Wound Center, ICU, PICU, OR, ER, and more. Electro also controls the snowmelt system in the ER, Heart Center, and main front entrances.
Along with the Staefa Smart 2, Siemens LON Predator, and Delta BACnet controllers, Electro Controls also integrated the critical room air valves, chiller data center, chillers for cooling the main hospital, CRAC unit, and Grundfos pumps to the Tridium front end. The front end provides facilities with a graphical user interface which they can use for alarm management of the HVAC equipment and to troubleshoot the system with graphics and trend logs.
